Stripe processes card payments. Connecting it brings those payments and the payouts they become into Omnyra, so money taken by card is counted alongside money taken any other way.
Steps
- Open Technology and choose Stripe.
- Sign in to your existing Stripe account and authorise access.
Connecting never creates a Stripe account. It links the one you already have. If you do not have one, this integration is not for you.
You can connect more than one Stripe account to a workspace, which matters if you run separate accounts for separate parts of the business.
Why it matters for your numbers
Card payments arrive in your bank as a payout — several days later, bundled, and net of fees. Without Stripe connected, that payout is one lump with no way to see which jobs it paid for or what the fees were.
With it connected, the individual payments and the payout are both known, so they can be matched instead of double-counted. See the unified ledger.
Security and data
Access is read-only. Omnyra reads payments, payouts and fees to report on them. It cannot charge a card, issue a refund, or move a payout.
Omnyra never sees or stores your Stripe password, and never handles card numbers. You authorise on Stripe's own screen and what is held afterwards is a revocable token.
Disconnecting stops further reading immediately, and access can also be revoked from your Stripe dashboard.
