Operations is the job side of the business: what work is booked, who is doing it, where they are going, and what it is worth.
Most of what appears here comes from your field service system, connected in Technology. Operations reads it, puts it alongside the money, and answers questions the field service system on its own cannot.

Why this sits next to the money
A job is not just a schedule entry. Its materials, labour and invoice determine profit margin, and margin is usually the number an owner most wants and least often has. Keeping jobs and accounting in the same place is what makes per-job margin answerable at all.
