A role decides which parts of Omnyra a person can open. Everyone you invite to your workspace gets one.
Access is not a single on/off switch. It is set across eight areas of the business, and each area is set independently, so you can give a bookkeeper the books without giving them payroll.
The eight areas
- Sales and customers — contacts, leads, the pipeline, the calendar and call records
- Quotes and pricing — building quotes, the price book and inventory
- Jobs and operations — jobs, scheduling, dispatch and operational rules
- Money and accounting — the books, banking, invoices, bills, reconciliation and the profit and loss
- Insights and reporting — KPIs, the daily brief, AI insights and health alerts
- People and payroll — employee records, hiring, time off and payroll
- Marketing and content — social posting, content, media assets and brand playbooks
- Integrations and workspace — connected tools and workspace settings
The four levels
Each area is set to one of:
- None — the person cannot see this area at all
- View — they can look, but not change anything
- Manage — they can do the normal day-to-day work of that area
- Full — everything in the area, including the settings behind it
What this also controls
A role does more than hide tabs. It governs what the assistant will do on that person's behalf, so someone without access to money and accounting cannot get the profit and loss by asking for it in chat.
