  • Usage & Device. Log data, diagnostics, pages viewed, device/browser information.
  • Financial Integration Data. When connected, entries, invoices, payments, and related metadata retrieved from QuickBooks to provide features such as KPIs, insights, and alerts.
  • Derived Output. Validator scores, audit references, alerts, and other generated results.
  • Cookies & Tracking. We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We may use analytics services to understand Service usage. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings.

3. How We Use Information§

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service, including validation and audit functions.
  • Secure the Service, detect fraud, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot incidents.
  • Communicate with you about updates, billing, and support.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

4. Sharing & Disclosure§

  • Service Providers. Vendors under contract who process data on our behalf with confidentiality and security obligations, including:
    • AI/ML Providers: Financial data and text are processed by third-party artificial intelligence services (including large language model providers) to generate insights, recommendations, and alerts. These providers process data under strict confidentiality agreements and do not use your data to train their general models.
    • Infrastructure Providers: Cloud hosting, database, and authentication services.
    • Analytics & Monitoring: Service performance and error tracking.
  • Compliance & Safety. Where required by law, regulation, or to protect rights and safety.
  • Business Transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to continued protections.
  • We do not sell personal information.

5. Data Retention§

We retain information for as long as necessary to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Aggregated or de-identified data may be retained for analytics.

10. Disconnect Effects§

If you disconnect QuickBooks at /integrations:

  • We cease requesting new data from QuickBooks and revoke tokens.
  • Previously imported data may remain in your workspace unless you delete it or request deletion; some records may be retained as required by law or for audit integrity.
  • KPIs/insights/alerts may no longer update; features depending on live data may be unavailable.
  • Audit entries already written (including references and hashes) remain to preserve chain continuity.

11. Changes§

We may update this Policy. Material changes will be communicated via the Service or email, with an updated effective date.
