Housecall Pro is field service software for scheduling, dispatching, estimating and invoicing. Connecting it brings that work into Omnyra so the jobs and the money can be read together.
Steps
- Open Technology and choose Housecall Pro.
- Paste your Housecall Pro API key.
Housecall Pro connects with an application programming interface (API) key rather than a sign-in. You generate the key inside Housecall Pro and paste it into Omnyra once.
What comes across
Customers and their addresses, employees, jobs, estimates and their line items, invoices, and the events attached to a job.
What this makes possible
Job-level detail is what turns generic financial figures into answers about your actual work. Average job margin, labour and material cost per job, and which job types are worth having all need the work and the money in the same place.
Invoices also feed the unified ledger — but only for workspaces that have no accounting software connected. When accounting software is present, the invoice is already recorded there, and counting it twice would inflate revenue.
Security and data
Access is read-only. Omnyra reads your Housecall Pro data to report on it; it does not create jobs, change schedules, or send invoices on your behalf.
Your API key is stored encrypted and is never shown back to you in full. It is not your Housecall Pro password, and it can be revoked from inside Housecall Pro at any time without changing your login.
Disconnecting removes the stored key and stops any further reading immediately.
Problems with Housecall Pro itself
Anything about Housecall Pro rather than the connection — how to generate an API key, a billing question, a feature inside their product — is theirs to answer, and their help centre is linked below.
