Connect from Technology. It runs through the same Meta sign-in as Facebook.
A personal account will not work
The account has to be a business or creator account, and it has to be linked to a Facebook Page.
This is not an Omnyra restriction. Meta does not allow any third-party tool to post to a personal Instagram account, so no product can offer it. Converting the account is free and done in the Instagram app.
If the connection appears to succeed and nothing can be posted, this is almost always why.
The Facebook Page matters
Because the link runs through it, the same Page-admin rule applies — see Facebook. An Instagram account linked to a Page you do not administer will not be offered.
What connecting gives you
Posting, and reach and engagement figures — see reach and engagement.
What you are handing over
Permission to post to the connected account and read its reach and engagement figures. Not direct messages, not the follower list, and nothing on a personal profile.
Your password is never given to Omnyra. Sign-in happens with Meta, and Meta reports back only whether the connection was approved. That approval can be withdrawn in Meta's settings at any time, and disconnecting here does the same from this side.
If it stops working later
Meta expires the permission periodically. Reconnecting is the fix — see a connection stopped.
