Media Library

The Media Library holds the images and video available to your posts.

Organising it

Assets go into folders, and can be filtered by type and by content pillar — the recurring themes your content is built around, such as finished work, team, education, or offers.

Pillars are worth using even though nothing forces you to. Filtering by pillar answers the question that makes a content plan work: what have I got too much of, and what have I got none of. Most service businesses find they have forty photos of finished work and nothing of the people who did it.

Brand assets

An asset can be marked as a brand asset, which makes it available wherever content is being created rather than requiring somebody to remember which folder the logo is in. Logos and recurring graphics belong here.

From asset to post

Any asset can be turned straight into a new post, or attached to a post already drafted. That is the usual path: the photo exists first, the post is written around it.

What to put in it

For a service business, photographs of your own work outperform anything bought or generated, consistently and by a wide margin. A slightly imperfect real photo of a real job beats a polished stock image, because a customer can tell the difference and one of them proves you exist.

The habit worth building is on the crew rather than in this screen: a photo before and after each job, taken on a phone, uploaded weekly. That single routine solves the content problem permanently, and no software feature substitutes for it.
